Get outdoors with your troop! Sign up for girl-led Nature Walks and Outdoor STEM for Cadettes and fifth-grade Juniors.

Tickets are for specific locations and dates for webinars and walks. Troops and individuals need to sign up with a leader, parent and guardian (not a drop-off event). Zoom links for webinars listed below (adults are welcome but not required at webinars). Calendar of all events.

  • San Dieguito River Park, Saturday, May 7 at 10 am, meet at Lake Hodges trailhead on West Bernardo Road, webinar on Wednesday, May 10 at 4 pm
  • Cancelled. Tijuana River National Estuarine Research Reserve, May 7 at 2 pm, at Visitor Center in Imperial Beach, webinar on Wednesday, May 11 at 4:30 pm
  • Postponed. Mission Trails Regional Park, Saturday, May 14, 2 pm, meet at Visitor Center, webinar on Thursday, May 19 at 4 pm
  • Los Penasquitos Canyon Preserve, Sunday, May 15, 1 pm, meet at Penasquitos Creek Park Trailhead (near Park Village Elementary School), webinar on Thursday, May 12 at 4 pm

  • Plastics, Pollution and Nurdles on the Beach, webinar on Tuesday at May 17 at 7 pm, and Carlsbad State Beach event on Sunday, May 22, at 11 am
  • You can be a Wildlife Biologist! webinar on Wednesday, May 18 at 7 pm, followed by troop-scheduled nearby nature walks and scavenger hunts
  • You can be a Tree Biologist! webinar on Thursday, May 12 at 7 pm and Tree Walk at Balboa Park on Saturday, May 14 at 10 am

Summer opportunities for your troops! Journeys and workshops can also be scheduled at YOUR TROOP MEETING time! Minimum of 8 girls (maybe combine with others in your Service Unit) send request to Anne Fege, advisor, afege@aol.com. Troop leaders are welcome to claim a ticket and join the scheduled journeys and workshops!
